Simple Rajma

Ingredients

  • 1/4 kilo rajma
  • 4 onions
  • 4 red chillies
  • 2 green chillies
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • salt to taste
  • chopped coriander to garnish

Method

Cook rajma till soft.

Grind together the onion, chillies ginger and garlic to a smooth paste.

 Heat ghee in a heavy saucepan and fry the paste till brown.

 Add tomato and fry some more time.

 Add the cooked rajma, salt and then simmer for some time.

Sprinkle with garam masala lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves.
